So Charming Sewing - Kaori Kishi

September 22, 29, October
Saturday only 12:00 - 7:00 p.m
gallery incurve kyoyoo

Kaori Kishi (b.1981) starts to make art works from picking up various color wool intuitively while having no image of its completion. She sews up felt wool, beads, and threads intently, and the handwork seems to momentary amusement, or harbor emotion of the moment in her fingers. Further noteworthy is their titles. The brief words immedately named to the just completed pieces will serve as a clue to the world where she imagines. In the exhibition, we will show her representative pieces including small ball form ones and over one meter large one. We hope you will enjoy the “so charming” world created by Kishi.
